Dynasty
A succession of those of the same family in leadership

This program is just that. A program that has been adopted and handed down from one coach to another.

The most influential of those coaches is who we are dedicating this re-brand to.

Staci Heath has been an influential coach, friend and community figure for more than +20 years and continues their work as David Douglas High School's Assistant Athletic Director and community sports coordinator.

"I began my teaching career in 1997 at

Menlo Park Elementary and took my first step into

high school coaching in the spring of 1998 as an

assistant softball coach for David Douglas High School.

In the 1999–2000 school year, I was hired as a full-time PE teacher at David Douglas and named the head softball coach — a role I held with great pride and passion through 2016.

Over the span of 17 seasons as head coach, I had the privilege of leading competitive and hard-working teams filled with exceptional student-athletes and supportive families. From 2005 through 2007, our program reached the OSAA state quarterfinals three consecutive years, a testament to the talent and dedication of our players. In 2012, we had one of our most successful seasons with 23 wins and a 2nd-place finish in a tough league.

Throughout my tenure, our teams were known for playing with grit, sportsmanship, and unity. I was fortunate to coach many multi-sport athletes and helped foster a culture of growth both on and off the field.

In addition to softball, I also contributed to the athletic community at David Douglas by coaching JV girls soccer and assisting the varsity soccer program for many years, along with one season of basketball coaching..."
